About me
I’m Wim Anne Wesselink, a 40 year old poker player and poker coach from the Netherlands. I have been playing professionally for more than 13 years and have cashed over $4.500.000 in online MTT’s .
I've finished my higher vocational education studying Communication before becoming a full time poker professional.
My Passion
My passion for the game is still as great as when I started playing 15 years ago. As a player my strengths are perseverance, self-criticism, analyzing and always have an open mind for new ideas and strategies. Those characteristics also helped me a lot with coaching.
My Goals
My goal with coaching is to make complicated strategies more manageable so you have a clear guideline when playing. Together we'll find components in your game to improve on, step by step. I don't focus on weakness, I look for opportunities.
True engagement
Another part of coaching that is important for me, is engagement with clients. Poker can be quite a lonely profession sometimes and I like connecting with people who share the same passion.
I believe that a kind, patient and social way of interacting and coaching is the way to go. It can have a big impact on a player's learning curve and their self confidence.
